SBP is pleased to announce that Dr. Shyamala Rajan, one of its co-founders, became a Certified Maryland Master Naturalist Volunteer. She achieved the certification after completing a rigorous program administered by the University of Maryland Extension (UME). Dr. Rajan completed 60 hours of training as well as volunteering 40 hours per year. More information on the program can be found on the UME site.
